New York Giants rookie and breakout star Cam Skattebo was carted off the field after suffering a serious ankle injury during the second quarter against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, October 26.
The rookie tried to catch a pass on a 2nd down and 16 play, but got twisted around while getting tackled. As a result, his ankle got stuck between the field and Zack Baun, the Eagles linebacker who was making the tackle.
As Skattebo, 23, was sitting on the field after the play, teammates immediately called for medical help. His right ankle was sitting out of place, turned all the way to the right.
