INDIAN RIVER – The Inland Lakes Bulldogs found out their first-round playoff foe on Sunday evening.

And it’s a dangerous one.

The Bulldogs (9-0) will host the Pickford Panthers (7-1) in an MHSAA 8-Player Division 1 regional football semifinal at Shanley Field.

Over the last two years, the Bulldogs and Panthers have faced off in the state semifinals. In 2023, the Bulldogs reached the Superior Dome with a 12-0 shutout victory in Pickford. However, the Panthers got their revenge in 2024 by defeating the Bulldogs 34-18 in Pickford.

Inland Lakes wrapped up its regular season with a 47-20 victory at Gaylord St. Mary on Friday, Oct. 24. With the win, the Bulldogs sealed a fifth consecutive Ski Valley 8-Player Conference title and a second consecutive 9-0 regular season.
