Man transported by LIFESTAR after falling 20 feet off ladder in Colchester

COLCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — LIFESTAR transported a man to a local hospital Saturday after he fell 20 feet from a ladder in Colchester, according to the fire department.

Fire officials said the man was unconscious after the fall on Broadway Street, but regained consciousness before first responders arrived.

Crews transported the man to the town green, the staging area for the LIFESTAR helicopter.

The man was flown by LIFESTAR to a local hospital in stable condition.
