Dreary, cooler Monday with few showers; more sun midweek before late week rain

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - This evening, skies will remain on the cloudier side with scattered showers for many. Only areas to the SW of the capital region can expect drier conditions with some clearing. This trend will carry overnight, with large amounts of cloud cover and a few scattered showers. Lows will drop down into the 30s for all. Patchy morning fog is possible and NNW gusts will reach 15-20 mph.

Skies will be on the cloudier side once again on Monday. A few showers are possible, most likely during the afternoon. More consistent showers look likely to work in from the Canadian Maritimes into Downeast locations during the afternoon/evening hours, continuing into the early portions of Monday night.
