PARIS, France — After months of dating rumors , popstar Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau were spotted holding hands while in Paris, France.

The duo made their first public appearance as a couple while celebrating the popstar's birthday at a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris, according to TMZ .

Perry and Trudeau were seen leaving the building holding hands, walking between fans and paparazzi.

Video shows the "California Gurls" singer accept two roses from a fan as Trudeau placed his hand on her lower back and helped her into an SUV.

The public appearance together comes after they were spotted having dinner in Montreal back in July and on a yacht on California's coast earlier this month.
