PHILADELPHIA — Eagles running back Saquon Barkley rushed for 150 yards against the New York Giants in the first three quarters, but his day might be over.
After rushing for 28 yards on the last play of the third quarter, Barkley grabbed at his leg, limped off the field and went to the medical tent.
Barkley spent a few minutes with trainers before returning to the sideline with his helmet. He has since been ruled questionable to return with a groin injury.
Barkley will have the next two weeks to get ready for Philadelphia’s Week 10 matchup against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The Eagles are on a bye in Week 9.
Prior to this game, Barkley had not rushed for 100 yards this season. He became the ninth running back in NFL history last season to surpass 2,000 yards with 2,005.
