Can we make a pitch for today being the biggest game in the Vancouver Whitecaps’ MLS history?

The Whitecaps look like they have a playoff run in them after their success this season, and chances are they’ll have a crowd in excess of 38,000 for this afternoon’s opening game of the best-of-three first round against FC Dallas at B.C. Place. For those scoring at home, announced attendance for the Inter Miami CF game featuring Lionel Messi back in April was 53,837.
