COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two people, including a juvenile, were hospitalized Sunday after a car crashed into a house in east Columbus, according to police.
The Columbus Division of Police said a Jeep Cherokee was heading east on Crete Lane at Loreto Lane around 4:50 p.m. The driver of the Jeep reportedly lost control and drove into the home in the 600 block of Loreto Lane, causing significant damage to the house and car.
A public safety dispatcher for the city told 10TV the driver and a passenger of the Jeep were taken to Mount Carmel East. Police said both suffered serious injuries but are expected to survive.
No other injuries were reported.
The Accident Investigation Unit responded to the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
