NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Malala Yousafzai stopped at the Shubert Theatre on her new book tour Sunday evening.

The Nobel Prize winner and education activist said 'Finding My Way' was the most personal story she has ever written.

"I have been working on this book for such a long time and I am so happy that it's finally out now and can't wait for more people to read it," Yousafzai said.

Yousafzai was not the only one excited for the book to come out, fans and avid readers were eager too.

"I admire her enormously in her articulateness and her bravery and all the things she has been willing to stand up for," Margaret Lewis of Southington said.

Attendees of the event also received a free copy of the book.
