The All-SAC football teams have been released, and while Bishop Dwenger and Carroll finished atop the conference standings it was Bishop Luers that was best represented in the league awards, with nine Knights named to the first or second teams.
Bishop Luers senior Zack Wall was the conference’s first-team center, while senior brothers Ayle Taylor, a defensive end, and defensive tackle Jarron Taylor were top selections for the second straight year. Jarron Taylor leads the Knights (5-5, 4-3 SAC) with 65 tackles and 10 sacks, and Ayle has a team-high 20 tackles for loss and eight sacks. Senior defensive back McKale Woodson was named to the first team with 22 tackles and four passes defended.
