Imphal, October 26 2025: The Manipur Police, in their daily bulletin, have stated that any attempt to intimidate or obstruct police officers in the discharge of their lawful duties will not be tolerated.

The police statement follows online threats by certain anti-social elements targeting a senior Churachandpur police officer and his family.

Saying that they take the threat very seriously, the police said that a case has been registered and an investigation is in progress to identify and take strict legal action against those involved.

Any attempt to intimidate or obstruct police officers in the discharge of their lawful duties will not be tolerated, it reiterated and urged the citizens not to share or amplify such unlawful online content.
