JACKSON - Harper Creek finished on top of the Interstate 8 Conference football standings all alone after a 48-16 win at Jackson Northwest in the regular-season finale on Friday, Oct. 24.
As defending champs, it is the first time Harper Creek has won back-to-back outright Interstate 8 Conference titles since 2011-12.
"We talked about that before hand. Wanted to give the boys a little extra motivation. Trying to win two straight outright titles. This is special. Opportunities like this don't come along all the time," Harper Creek coach Mason Converse said.
