Work on the new Moundsville Municipal & Safety Building is moving to the interior now that the weather is getting colder and much of the exterior work is complete.
Moundsville City Manager Rick Healy said during the most recent progress meeting, he learned all aspects of the building are still being worked on, “but has moved to the inside.”
“The glass for the window frames was delivered yesterday,” he noted.
Since the last progress meeting, Healy said the following has been worked on and or has been completed: East and south side stormwater installation; final coping on the elevator roof; apparatus bay and other lighting; security cameras and data cables installed; HVAC start-up; drywall on second and third floors; electrical work and the hoist platform for the elevator; and flooring on
