The unit tried to bounce back from the loss of Cam Skattebo to a dislocated right ankle in the second quarter – both emotionally and in football terms – but it was not enough. Skattebo scored the Giants’ only non-garbage-time touchdown on an 18-yard reception, but not much else was going on. Jaxson Dart was 14-for-24 for 193 yards, one TD passing and one rushing, was sacked five times and took a beating. The Giants rushed 21 times for 68 yards. Dart’s would-be 68-yard TD pass to Darius Slayton was erased by a questionable offensive pass interference call.
