New Delhi, Oct 27: In a shocking incident, a doctor working at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi was allegedly raped by a man who posed as an Army officer. Police said the accused, identified as Aarav from Chhatarpur, had faked his identity to gain the doctor’s trust before assaulting her.

According to police sources, Aarav, who actually worked as a delivery person, pretended to be a Lieutenant posted in Jammu and Kashmir. He first connected with the victim on Instagram, introducing himself as an Army officer. After a few conversations, the two exchanged phone numbers and began chatting on WhatsApp.
