After five years of no direct air connectivity, airline major IndiGo has become the first Indian carrier to reinstate, non-stop flights between India and Mainland China .

Accordingly, IndiGo has commenced daily, non-stop flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou.

Located in southern China, Guangzhou is widely recognised as a key global business hub for manufacturing and export logistics.

The resumption of connectivity from India, IndiGo said, caters to the growing demand for passenger and cargo movement between the two countries, unlocking new opportunities for trade, investment, and tourism.

Besides, IndiGo will begin flights between Delhi and Guangzhou from November 10, 2025, further strengthening its presence in this important trade and travel corridor.
