On Sunday, WWE sent fans into a frenzy with a series of mystery-man teaser videos, prompting many to guess who might be returning or debuting soon. Three of the cryptic clips arrived throughout the day, possibly suggesting they were building towards something for "Monday Night Raw ."

Each video focused solely on a pair of shoes with a bit of music and the sound of footsteps on the grounds. After the first video arrived, fans began to speculate that it might have referred to the "Ring General," GUNTHER, or Chris Jericho, both of whom were swirling in rumors as John Cena's final opponent.

While GUNTER might make sense, Jericho is currently under contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), suggesting that if it's him, he won't be showing up for a while.
