Indianapolis brewery Guggman Haus took down Sun King to win IndyStar's Beer Bracket.

Both brewers applauded the other and emphasized the communal strength of Indy's beer scene.

After four rounds and more than 10,000 votes in IndyStar's Beer Bracket , the king of the cold ones has been crowned. With one final upset, No. 5-seeded Guggman Haus narrowly defeated No. 1 S un King by 23 votes to seize the title of Central Indiana's favorite brewer.

Of course, the term "favorite brewer" is as loaded as a double black IPA, and about as murky, too. While we've tried to emphasize throughout this tournament that the Beer Bracket is not merely an arbiter of winners and losers, that argument loses a little weight when we literally name a winner.
