Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is India’s highest-ranked Test batter, is all set to play for Mumbai in their third match of the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. Mumbai will face Rajasthan at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur from November 1 to 4, and according to the Indian Express, Jaiswal has informed the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) that he is available for the Ranji Trophy game against Rajasthan.
The match against Rajasthan will help Jaiswal prepare for the two-match Test series against South Africa. India will face South Africa in a two-match Test series next month. The series opener is scheduled to take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata from November 14 to 18, and Guwahati will host the second Test from November 22 to 26.
