The oyster toadfish, the blue crab, the spider crab, a seahorse — these are all temporary residents at Hudson River Park’s Wetlab, and all can be found in the Hudson River.
“We’re in Pier 40, and the Wetlab really has a DIY research aquarium feel. We have water continuously flowing from the Hudson River, so the conditions in these tanks are actually the same as what’s in the river right now,” said Tina Walsh, assistant vice president of Education and Outreach at Hudson River Park’s River Project.
