Longueuil police (SPAL) have launched an investigation after a newborn baby was found in a Longueuil bus shelter, on Montreal’s South Shore.
Police say that an investigation is currently underway on Monday morning on Chambly Road, near Briggs Street.
“This is a sector to avoid at the moment,” said a SPAL spokesperson. “Details to come.”
This comes less than a month after a separate incident where the SPAL launched an investigation after a newborn baby boy was found abandoned on the doorstep of a home in the St-Hubert area of Longueuil on the evening of Oct. 5.
