NEW DELHI: Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar on Monday said the first phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar was completed without a single appeal. The announcement came as the Election Commission launched the second phase of the special revision drive across 12 states and Union territories. Earlier this month, the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar also informed that during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Campaign, 2025 in the state, no appeals were received by the District Magistrate regarding the addition or deletion of names in the electoral roll by the Electoral Registration Officer in all 243 Assembly Constituencies.
