Richard Madeley has confessed that he simply "wasn't ready" for his first marriage, dubbing the union "ridiculous" and "very unfair" to his ex-wife. In a recent chat with Matt Willis on an episode of the On The Mend podcast, Richard , who's been married to Judy Finnigan for nearly four decades, shared insights into what he described as the "failure" of his first marriage .
Long-time co-hosts Richard and Judy first met in 1982 when the former joined Granada to host alongside Tony Wilson and Judy, but they were both married at the time, Richard to Lynda Hooley and Judy to David Henshaw.
