The Los Angeles Lakers fans saw a tremendous night from Austin Reaves, who led the team to win on Sunday without Luka Doncic and LeBron James. Reaves ended up with his career-best 50 points. His magnificent performance even got a shout-out from LeBron James.
After the game, Reaves shared a glimpse of his back-and-forth relationship with Doncic while sharing his mindset at the free-throw line against the Sacramento Kings.
“I ain’t gonna lie I went to the free throw line, and I’m like, ‘S***, I better not miss (the free throw). Me and (Luka) our whole relationship is just talking trash back and forth. Towards the end of the conversation, he was like, ‘I need 60,’ and I was like, ‘hahaha,'” Reaves said.
Reaves has become just the fifth Lakers player this century to score 50 or more points
