The 20-year-old Stroudbsurg man accused of shooting and injuring a 16-year-old girl at a Monroe County Halloween block party is now in custody, state police said.

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Anthony Petroski III, public information officer for Troop N, told lehighvalleylive.com that Unique Kaheem Johnson was arrested sometime Sunday. He declined to provide further information about the arrest, citing the pending investigation.

Johnson is charged with felony attempted murder, felony attempted involuntary manslaughter and felony aggravated assault.

Johnson was arraigned Sunday evening before District Judge Richard P. White, who denied bail. He was then taken to the Monroe County jail.
