Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jeetu Patwari has strongly condemned the remarks made by State Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya regarding the harassment incident involving foreign women cricketers in Indore. The Minister had advised international players to inform local authorities and take precautions before stepping out of their hotels. Patwari termed this statement as clear evidence of the government’s failure to ensure women’s safety.

Patwari questioned the logic behind the Minister’s comment, asking, “If a foreign woman cricketer wishes to go out or interact with locals, how many female constables will accompany her?
