In a shocking incident, a roadside bomb explosion wounded at least seven security personnel and a passerby in Balochistan, Pakistan. The attack took place on Monday, targeting the convoy of Kech Deputy Commissioner Bashir Barech in the Turbat area, leaving the officer safe but others injured.
Kech Senior Superintendent of Police Zohaib Mohsin informed Dawn that the explosive device, concealed in a motorcycle and detonated by remote control, exploded as the deputy commissioner's convoy passed along Press Club road. Among the injured were five Levies personnel, part of the provincial paramilitary force.
