GRAYSVILLE, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Two Adamsville police officers were involved in a crash in Graysville Monday morning.

Police say the officers were responding to a report of a downed tree on Highway 78. They had activated their emergency lights and were getting ready to clear the road when a pickup crashed into the back of their patrol car, according to authorities.

One officer was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
