A woman who died in a crash Friday on Illinois Road and Sutton Avenue has been identified as a 22-year-old from Fort Wayne, the Allen County Coroner's Office said today.

Sydney Grace Griffith was transported to a local hospital where she later died. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries due to the collision of her vehicle and a semi truck trailer.

Griffith is the 36th traffic fatality in Allen County this year.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor's Office and the Allen County Coroner.
