Baby Hughy's Pizza and Burgers restaurant started a new trend of helping those affected by the SNAP expiration looming on November 1.

The Tennessee Department of Human Services explains :

"If the federal government shutdown continues, federally-funded SNAP benefits for November will be unavailable."

Owner of Baby Hughy's, Eric Hugh Harris posted to social media Sunday how his business would be helping people.

He said that Baby Hughy's Pizza and Burgers will be anonymously feeding two families of four twice a week, at their Tunnel Hill, Rock Spring and Holiday Florida locations.

Harris said this applies to families who follow him on Facebook and are affected by their SNAP expiring on November 1.
