BOSTON, Mass. — The debate over whether the Browns should bench Dillon Gabriel for rookie Shedeur Sanders has reached a fever pitch following Cleveland’s dismal 32-13 loss to the New England Patriots. While head coach Kevin Stefanski remains steadfast in his commitment to Gabriel, the offensive struggles have many wondering how much longer that position can hold.
“It’s going to get to a point where even right now, like, I don’t blame the people that want to see Shedeur because what has there been exciting about this offense this season? There has not been much and there is this idea among fans that hey, maybe this is somebody who can bring some of that excitement,” Browns beat reporter Ashley Bastock said during the Orange and Brown Talk podcast .
