It's beginning to feel like fall in Mississippi and this week the state will see rain associated with another cold front followed by some of the coldest temperatures the state has experienced this season.
"Basically, it's another cold front coming down Tuesday," said Mike Edmonston, senior meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Jackson. "Basically, it's moving through Tuesday night into Wednesday.
"The biggest impact will be cooler than normal temperatures . By Friday morning our lows will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s. It's going to be cooler than normal, but dry, though."
However, before the dry weather arrives, chances of rain are expected. Jackson has chances of rain in the forecast Tuesday through Wednesday night. Hattiesburg has chances of rain on Tuesday and
