Two women are dead after the fire that broke out early Sunday morning in Napoleon Township.

In an update late Monday morning, Napoleon Twp. Fire Department officials confirmed the two victims who were pulled from the burning home on Brooklyn Road near M-50 were killed.

Officials identified the victims as 76-year-old Sandra Miracle and her daughter, 50-year-old Susan Miracle. They were both pronounced dead at the scene, despite life-saving measures.

Authorities did not immediately release a cause of death.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
