As many as 58 candidates, including 22 non-locals from across Telangana, are contesting the Jubilee Hills bypoll. Their agendas range from unemployment and SC classification to public welfare, highlighting the constituency’s diverse and politically vibrant character.
Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills bypoll is witnessing a contest among 58 candidates, of whom 22 are non-local individuals and 36 are from within the city, the District Election Office announced following the withdrawal of nominations.
Among the non-local contenders are four from Karimnagar, three each from Nalgonda and Nizamabad, and two candidates each from Khammam, Yadadri-Bhongir, Mahbubnagar and Vikarabad. Additionally, one candidate each is from Jangaon, Hanamkonda, Sangareddy and Suryapet.
