STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The driver who struck the No Kings protester in Jackson Township has been identified and charged.
As part of its investigation into the vehicle-pedestrian collision that occurred on Oct. 18, the Jackson Township Police Department collected evidence that included witness statements, photographs and videos, including data obtained from Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs).
This evidence was reviewed with the Massillon Prosecutor’s Office.
According to Jackson Township police, the evidence suggests there is was no indication that the incident was an intentional act.
Donald Frank, 77, of 9600 block of Lafayette Dr., NW, Jackson Township was identified as the driver of the incident.
Frank was traveling westbound on Fulton Drive, NW, and straddled a right turn
