LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska (6-2, 3-2) is set to host #23 USC (5-2, 3-1) for a primetime night game in Lincoln on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. with television coverage on NBC.
Nebraska is set to wear it’s alternate jerseys for the upcoming game, which were released earlier this season.
The Huskers are coming off a 28-21 win over Northwestern, making them bowl eligible for the 2nd year in a row. Meanwhile, USC is coming off a bye week. The Trojans have dropped two of their last three games, falling to Notre Dame 34-24 and Illinois 34-32. This season they have wins over Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Georgia Southern, and Missouri State.
Historically, Nebraska has not fared well against USC with an 0-5-1 record against the Trojans. The Huskers last faced USC in the
