he Vikings had dropped a tough region contest at Langston Hughes with first place on the line last weekend. They knew that meant they had to beat the Wildcats to claim second place in the region.

Things did not go to plan. In a hard-fought but mistake-plagued contest, the Vikings came up short in a 14-7 final score.
