FRONT ROYAL — Stacey Philpot has big dreams for helping the community. And just 18 months after opening her counseling practice in Front Royal, she is making an impact.
A licensed professional counselor, Philpot opened Life Repair Center of Front Royal as a solo practice last spring.
She has quickly grown the practice to include about a half dozen therapists and staff members who offer a variety of services, including individual, couples and group therapy, animal assisted therapy, trauma stage therapy, EMDR, rehabilitation and substance use counseling — and goat yoga.
“There was a lot of demand,” said Philpot, explaining that she initially offered virtual sessions but added in-person therapy within a few weeks because of that demand.
