The trial of Samuel Lee, accused of murder in the October 2024 death of a woman in a Flagstaff hotel room, began in Division 1 of Coconino County Superior Court on Thursday , Oct. 23 .

Ted Reed, presiding judge of the Superior Court, is overseeing the trial. Jonathan Mosher is prosecuting the case for the County Attorney’s Office, and Lee is represented by Christine Brown and Andrew Graham of the Public Defender’s Office.
