EVERETT — The AquaSox staff crunched the numbers since winning the Northwest League Championship Series on Sept. 13, and it turns out the franchise proved successful in an additional way.
A franchise-record 147,051 fans filled the stands at Funko Field during the Frogs’ 68 home games, which included two playoff wins that clinched the league title. The AquaSox sold out 25 games and averaged 2,163 fans at home, the club announced on Thursday.
According to the AquaSox, nearly four million fans have attended games during the franchise’s 40 seasons.
