One of the 15 newest members of the University of Maryland men's basketball team has a story that inspires off the court.
When the Maryland Terrapins take the court this season, fans will see a new coach and a whole new team.
Terps head coach Buzz Williams takes the helm in College Park after Kevin Willard bolted for Villanova following a Sweet 16 season at Maryland. Williams brings in a history of winning — and lots of talent — but getting so many pieces figured out in October is challenging.
"We got kicked upside the head last week at our scrimmage, and a lot of what I thought we might have a chance to be good at, we quickly figured out we weren't," Williams told WBAL-TV 11 Sports.
