Darren Bailey's running mate, Aaron Del Mar, filed nomination papers in his absence following a helicopter crash last Wednesday that killed his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Del Mar submitted over 12,000 signatures collected from 3,000 volunteers across Illinois.
