As we enter the fourth week of the partial government shutdown — which started Oct. 1 — we want to know how it has affected you.

Hundreds of thousands of federal workers have been furloughed nationwide. Washington has nearly 80,000 federal employees, FYI Guy writes, earning an average weekly wage of $2,045. Many have already missed paychecks as the shutdown drags on. And those worried about flight delays or airport impacts might breathe a sigh of relief to learn Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has so far been spared.

The partial shutdown has also created uncertainty for nutrition aid, including Washington’s Women, Infants, and Children program which recently received additional funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to maintain food benefits through mid-November.
