Three persons were left dead and several injured after a truck on Monday rammed into a bus parked on the side of Vadodara-Ahmedabad National Expressway 1 (NE-1), about 10 km from Ahmedabad.

Deepak Hasmukhlal Pandya (57) of Mumbai , Ishwar Babu Rabari (59) of Mehsana and Somchand Viraji Thakor (60) lost their lives in the accident.

An FIR has been filed against the truck driver at Kanbha police station in Rural Ahmedabad . On the basis of the complaint by 55-year-old Lalit Chaman Nayee – driver of the Patel Travels bus whose passengers lost their lives – the incident took place at 5 am on October 27.
