Gov. Gavin Newsom said he’ll give a bid for the White House serious thought after long speculation over what’s next for the California governor reaching the end of his term .
The discussion over a possible presidential run came in an interview with “CBS News Sunday Morning” that aired on Sunday Oct. 26.
Sunday Morning national correspondent Robert Costa told Newsom that he thought the California governor might run for president after seeing him behind a coffee bar as part of a field event earlier this year.
“I’m looking forward to who presents themselves in 2028 and who meets that moment,” Newsom said. “And that’s the question for the American people.”
Costa asked whether it’s fair to say that after the 2026 midterm elections, Newsom is going to give a presidential run serious though
