The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defense spurred a 23-3 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week Eight with five sacks and four takeaways – the first time they have eclipsed each of those milestones in a single game since 2022, also at New Orleans. Making his first start of the 2025 campaign, Anthony Nelson fueled the onslaught, recording 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble and an interception returned for a touchdown, becoming the first player since 2007 to reach each of these marks in a single game. Nelson became just one of three players since at least 2000 to accomplish that accolade. He is the first Bucs player to record that stat line in a single game since data became available dating back to 1994.
