Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene sounded the alarm to Georgia Republicans on voting in the upcoming election for two contested Public Service Commission races.
In what are typically low-profile campaigns, Democrats Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard are challenging Republican incumbents Tim Echols and Fitz Johnson in the Nov. 4 election. However, a party spokesperson told Georgia NPR station WABE that the DNC and the Association of State Democratic Committees have raised more than $100,000 for the state party and the two candidates. Municipal elections in cities like Atlanta are expected to drive Democratic turnout, and the PSC elections are the only contested state races.
