UNION COUNTY, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) – A tank truck has tipped over in Union County and is causing the eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 64/84 near Mile Marker 397 to be reduced to one lane of travel.
According to the Union County Sheriff's Office, the New Mexico State Police is handling the crash investigation, and the sheriff's office is assisting with traffic control. Officials note to drivers in the area to use caution, expect delays, and obey all directions from law enforcement and emergency personnel.
The Union County Sheriff's Office states that lane restrictions are to be expected until approximately 5 p.m. MT.
