ORLEANS – The Orleans Band Regiment has announced the successful relocation and reopening of its community can recycling bin, a popular local fundraising initiative.
The “Can Bin,” which collects aluminum cans to support the band program, is now back in operation and is officially located on the Orleans High School property.
The move marks a significant change for residents who use the service. The previous drop-off site near the grain bins in town is now permanently closed. The Band Regiment is asking the public to refrain from placing any cans at the old, non-functional location.
The Can Bin is a vital part of the Orleans Band Regiment’s fundraising efforts, helping cover the costs of instruments, uniforms, and travel for the student musicians. The community’s continued participation
