LAWRENCE CO. – Motorists traveling through the Pinhook Road area should plan for a detour tomorrow, Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
The Lawrence County Highway Department will be closing a section of Pinhook Road to replace a culvert.
The closure will be in effect between Bud Stipp and Old Buddha Road.
The road closure is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. and reopen by 2:00 p.m. The highway department anticipates that the road will be ready for travel once the culvert replacement is complete.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes during these hours and to watch for equipment and workers in the area.
